6 hours: I finished the assembly of the HS in the skin with some difficulty, nothing seemed to be fitting together very easily. In particular, the center main and nose ribs, and the rear spar required a lot of massaging and adjustment to get into place. Maybe I am being overly cautious, but I am in the process of asking Van's and the mailing lists if there is a problem here.
While waiting for replies I used the rivet gun for the first time! On some scrap sheet metal, of course. I *think* most of my first attempts were successful, though I think the dimples were a little shallow to start with leaving the flush heads a little high.
