3 hours: I got some opinions on my tight-fitting HS; people seemed to think that the protective film on the inside of the skin was making things difficult. I have seen this be a problem on other parts so I went ahead and drilled the skin to final size. Still waiting to hear back from Van's -- I guess phone is faster than email for support -- but if it turns out I did it all wrong I'll just buy a new skin. I burned almost 3 days agonizing about this, at this rate the thing will never fly if I don't make a few mistakes and end up ordering a few replacement parts.I also started on the VS a little, deburring and fluting those ribs.
