10/5/20038 hours: Full day today. I dimpled the entire left HS skin, some of it with the squeezer, the middle parts with the c-frame tool. I built up some supports for the skin with scrap wood, plywood, and topped with half-inch foam insulation board to prevent any scratching. My girlfriend was kind enough to hold the skin open for part of the operation, and when she got tired of that I realized I could put some lead weights on the bottom skin around the die to keep the skin down as I lifted the top half with one hand.I also set up the jig and microstop cage for countersinking the spar flange. Pretty tricky getting this adjusted just right since the flanges are not perpendicular to the body of the spar.
