Paul Eastham's RV-9A

11/02/2003

No progress recently since we spent the weekend up in Napa. On the way up there we passed, of all things, a Harbor Freight store! I had never been to one in person before, since they are all at least 2 hours away. All thoughts of buying large quantities of wine were immediately replaced with visions of all the tools I still need. On the way back we stopped and I escaped for only $40, which bought quite a few clamps, cheap air tools, files, nitrile gloves, etc.

I'm still jealous of the builders down in so-cal who can drive to both Harbor Freight and Aircraft Spruce anytime they need something. Right now I'm waiting for some oversize rivets from Spruce to finish that tricky VS skeleton.
