4 hours: Finished riveting tank nutplates on left spar. There are a few dozen smaller nutplates to do on the spars now (to attach three access plates per wing), then I'll have completed the first step (of the hundreds in the instruction manual) on the wings.
I got set up to countersink those smaller nutplates, and after it got too cold to be in the garage (it's supposed to be in the twenties tonight) I deburred a few of the wing ribs. That is going to be a lot of work...there must be at least 100 ribs and they are all huge with lots of hard-to-reach corners and edges.
